Field notes
Encounter guide
- Give Dimaal four matching ritual bones while no challenge is running. Their condition selects the easy, medium or hard spirit set.
- The first wave arrives after six seconds. Three further waves arrive at ten-minute intervals; waves are timed rather than gated by clearing every enemy.
- The fourth wave includes the named spirit: Simati the Cursed, Tagai Darkheart or Phizan Crindo, depending on the chosen set.
- Defeat casters alongside the fighters and clear each wave before the next timed arrival. A fleeing spirit can cause Dimaal to abandon the challenge.
