Field notes

Encounter plan

  • Entering the trigger area spawns a massive burrower and starts the first wave after 45 seconds.
  • The next wave ticks are five minutes apart: early waves contain twelve mixed burrowers, followed by six core burrowers and then parasite larvae.
  • A skipped wave creates a ten-minute gap before the final burrower parasite.
  • The controller resets when no non-feigned player remains in the encounter area.
