Tomorrow Dies First: Tserrina's Unlived Reflection

Leave remembered positions behind and interrupt the futures that threaten to become real.

Explore Tower of Frozen Shadow

The encounter

A reflection remains at the summit, waiting for a future that never arrived. The mirror records where marked players stand and attacks those places eight seconds later.

This battle remembers positions without returning anyone to them. Move away from the marks, protect allies who pass nearby and interrupt the larger apparitions.

This remains a direct named fight: move out of marked frost and kill or interrupt the futures. The first mark selects one non-tank; after both future thresholds it selects two. There are no ritual objects or forced health gates.

Know your role

Everyone

  • Leave every recorded location, including another player's mark.
  • Read the eight-second warning and keep the marked ground clear until the blast.
  • After 30% health, expect up to two distinct non-tank marks.

Tank

  • Hold the reflection so allies have room to move.
  • The recording selects eligible non-tanks; it does not require moving the boss.

Damage and interrupters

  • At 65% and 30%, interrupt or defeat the Unlived Future before its 15-second cast ends.
  • The apparition has 4,000 health; assign a quick interrupt instead of relying on a final-second kill.

Healers

  • Keep moving after casting near a recorded position.
  • A missed apparition cast creates a group pulse.

Encounter progression

  1. Every 30 seconds, subject to separation from future casts

    The glass remembers

Record one living non-tank initially, or up to two after both future thresholds. Their old locations erupt eight seconds later.

  2. 65% health

    The first unlived future

One 4,000-health apparition begins an interruptible cast with at least 15 seconds to respond.

  3. 30% health

    More futures converge

A second apparition appears and future recordings can select up to two non-tanks.

  4. The reflection is defeated

    A voice beyond the glass

The seven silences are broken. The final group equipment roll and independent splinter roll occur, and Avel can explain the next expedition.

The Glass Remembers Move beyond 12 paces from recorded ground before eight seconds expire.
Eight-second warningGround danger Everyone

The explosion deals 550 cold damage around each remembered location. The selected players and their allies must move clear.

Targets are distinct living non-tanks, limited by how many are available. The tank is not substituted when there are fewer candidates.

Only an attack location is remembered. Health, equipment, cooldowns and player positions are not rewound.

Related spells

Unlived Future Interrupt or defeat the apparition before its announced completion.
InterruptPriority add Everyone

An unfinished apparition releases a 450-damage group pulse. Its cast is explicitly interruptible.

The apparition receives at least 15 seconds of warning. Its completion may be delayed to keep the pulse and a mirror explosion at least six seconds apart.

Expedition access and route

The Seven Silences admits groups of three to six characters of level 55 or higher; six level-60 characters are recommended. Speak to Keeper Avel Rimeglass in Iceclad. Entry requires no raid trophy.

The eight-hour expedition and replay begin at acceptance. The lower floors start below the difficulty of the Mistmoore group expedition, then increase toward comparable pressure on the upper floors.

Ordinary tower keys, keyring entries and the summit shortcut do not unlock this version. Each floor victory unlocks the next expedition mirror and a cleared return checkpoint. The two wings of floor six form one encounter.

Warnings and recovery

Read the named cast warnings and say [status] for the current objective. The leader chooses [begin] at the Echo Guide, then the party pulls when ready. Boss abilities begin on engagement; a completed disengage resets the attempt.

Defeated prerequisite warders and optional support mobs are saved before their deaths are accepted. A wipe or reload retains these kills, previously won floors, paid admission and replay deadlines. Cleared bosses cannot be repeated for another reward during this expedition.

The group floors require no carried tools, book choices, bells, rings or valves. Ordinary tower keys and movement shortcuts still cannot bypass the event mirrors. Every group boss retains one of its four equipment rewards and its independent splinter roll.

Root, mez and stun can help with ordinary adds. Interrupting a named is optional; when a cast is missed, the party can move or heal as described. No random loot item is required to perform a mechanic.

Continuing the story

The raid requester first gives one listed access writ to the Mistmoore Archivist, once, to permanently unlock requests for both Bloodbound Mistmoore and The Unwritten Hour. Other raid members need no personal writ flag.

For each new Unwritten Hour expedition, that unlocked leader hands Keeper Avel Rimeglass exactly three Splinters of the Unwritten Hour together. The three splinters are consumed; no additional writ is needed. Roster requirements and replay lockouts still apply.

Tower inhabitants

Ordinary inhabitants populate the unlocked floors independently of this encounter. Each floor or wing has six stationary inhabitants and two native patrols. Most see normal invisibility, many are genuinely undead, and nearby inhabitants can assist one another.

Killing these ambient mobs does not complete named objectives, open mirrors, remove named protections or award boss equipment or progression items. Follow the named warder/support instructions separately.

Ambient mobs can be rooted, mezzed, stunned or snared. Their saved 30-minute respawns wait near living players and during an engaged named fight on that floor. Native undead-targeted spells and invisibility-versus-undead detection use their actual body types.

Encounter rewards

Equipment reward

Exactly one item is chosen from these four, with a 25% chance for each item. Supporting creatures and encounter objectives do not award additional equipment.

Independent raid-entry reward

There is a separate 60% chance for one entry splinter per boss victory. This roll does not replace the equipment reward and is not repeated for each player. The splinter is permanent, stackable, No Trade and not Lore.
